A nice example of a “Celto-Roman” open work in asymmetrical form with an animal head from the area around Frankfurt/Main, Germany, early to mid 3rd century AD. Length 3.3 cm. Soldier’s brooch. Original made of silver, replica as well. With strong pin made from spring hard bronze.
