Description
Obverse head of Faustina to the right, FAUSTINA AUGUSTA. Faustina II (the Younger), 130 – 176 AD, was the wife of Emperor Marcus Aurelius and had 14 children with him, most of whom died young. The most famous of her children was the future Emperor Commodus.
Reverse FECUNDITAS (personification of fertility) standing from the front with a sceptre in his right hand and a child on his left arm, head to the right.
