Reverse S(enatus) P(opulus)Q(ue) R(omanus) OPTIMO PRINCIPI, in the section below S(enatus) C(onsultum). Trajan, bareheaded, in military garb, his cloak hovering behind him, rides to the right and thrusts his spear at a dacer falling in front of his horse.
