Marcomannic belt buckle
Description
Belt buckle from the Marcomannic burial ground of Kostolna pri Dunaji, south-west Slovakia, grave 14, around the second half of the 1st century AD. Buckles of this type were widespread as far as north-eastern Germania. For a belt width of 2.5 cm. Length of the buckle 10,9 cm. Original from brass.
