Description

Openwork pendant mount for a coin based on pieces from the Naix hoard, Dep. Meuse, France. Gold original, around the middle of the 3rd century AD. The silver pendant features a replica of an Antoninian (double denarius) of Caracalla. Inner field diameter 2.1 cm, height 4.7 cm.
