Belt buckle from the Landesmuseum in Mainz, tinned brass. First half of 1st century AD. Width of the plate 2.5 cm. The undecorated belt plates make up the bulk of the finds of plates from this period.
There are 4 buttons on the back to press the piece into the leather. Fits belt plate no. 0785.
