Roman lunular-shaped plate brooch with riveted bone bead from Augst (AUGUSTA RAURICA) near Basel, Switzerland. Lunular-shaped plate brooches appeared shortly before the middle of the 1st century AD and were used until about the beginning of the 80s of the 1st century AD. Width 3,1 cm. Original brass tin-plated. Women’s brooch, widespread throughout the Roman Empire.

With strong pin made of spring hard bronze.
