Description
Roman finger ring from a private collection in Wiesbaden, in the shape of two dolphins separated by a trident pointing downwards, at the end of which there is a stylized laurel wreath. The inscription “Vivas” is on the ring plate itself. Original silver, 2nd until of the 3rd century So far only one ring with a similar decoration is known, which was found in the Rhine between Cologne and Neuss and which was also made of silver.
