Description
Roman silver spoon (“Ligula”) from the treasure trove of Neupotz, district of Germersheim, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany. This hoard, weighing just over 700 kg, came from Gaul in the course of the Alamanni invasions in the late 3rd century AD. into today’s place. The majority is made of metal tableware, but iron objects such as tools and equipment are also among them. Length of the spoon 18.5 cm.
