Description
Germanic belt buckle from the Marcomannic cemetery of Kostolna pri Dunaji, south-western Slovakia, grave 35, ca. second half of the 1st century AD. Buckles of this type were widespread as far as north-eastern Germania. For a belt width of 1.2 cm. Length of the buckle without fitting plate 7.9 cm. Original made of brass.
