Description
From grave 975 in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland. The belt was in the pelvic area of the body grave, consisting of a buckle and the strap tongue. A nummus (small bronze coin) of Emperor Constans (337-350 AD) dates the tomb to about the first half of the 4th century. For a belt width of 2.5 cm. Original brass. Matching rivets are included.
