Description

Nauheimer brooch from the Dünsberg in Hessen, Germany. This type of Celtic fibula for women’s costumes was particularly widespread in the 1st century BC and ended in the Augustan period with the onset of Roman rule. The fragmented bronze original is in the City Museum in Königstein im Taunus, Hessen, Germany. Length of the replica 7.5 cm.
