Beautifully crafted minerva statuette from the Roman fort at Ober-Florstadt, Wetteraukreis, Hessen, Germany. Minerva corresponds to the Greek Athena and was the patron goddess of craftsmen and trades. Dated 2nd-3rd century AD, height 9.8 cm.
