Belt plate with attached buckle of a military belt from Auerberg, district of Weilheim-Schongau, Bavaria, Germany. Brass with niello inlays, originally tinned, early 1st century AD, width 2.8 cm, length 11 cm. With buttons on the back for attachment to the belt leather. The plates are manufactured without a niello inlay.
