Description

Ring from the Landesmuseum in Wiesbaden with the inscription “IOVC”, 2nd century. Most likely, the engraving on this ring is an ancient misspelling, as “IOVC” makes no sense. But if you add a small horizontal bar to the middle of the “C”, you get an “E” and thus the word “IOVE” ( with Jupiter). And rings of this type and shape can be found quite often.

Please indicate the ring size you need at the end of the order form.
